thankful#129: schedule changes

Sometimes. Like today. I do like having a schedule, and I typically like sticking to my schedule - especially since having the girls - it makes me feel more productive if I am able to keep my schedule. I seem to get more done. But there are times that a change in schedule actually help me be more productive. Like today. Kevin was supposed to be at school to help with some board-something-or-other and we were going to pick him up on our way out of town after picking Kinsley up from school. I was planning on having him drop me off a few miles out from my parents' and running in to get my run in for the day. But when he got there they told him that they didn't need him afterall and if he wanted to go home he could. So Dagny and I dropped Kinsley off at school and went to the law school and picked Kevin up. I was able to get my run in while Kinsley was at school and still get everything packed up that we needed because he was there to help with Dags. It was so nice to have it out of the way and be done for the day before we even left for Portland. I would have been happy running in to Yaya and Papa's, but this let me have even more time to visit. And my morning felt extra productive. Good schedule change.
