Timmy, Alex, and I woke up around 6o'clock to get an early morning run in before the long road trip that was about to take place. It was a beautiful 24(ish) degree morning as we ran up Pilot Butte. Such a gorgeous morning even though my fingers felt like they had razor slices along them from the cold. And such a great way to start the day.
Brandi and Rachel showed up around 8o'clock and we loaded up the car and took off on our adventure. It has been ages since I've been on a road trip and I remember why I used to love them so much. It was a long drive (that was super slow to start being that the roads were pretty slick for about the first hour or two), but it went by super quickly. It's amazing what fun conversation can do for a 9-hour drive, not to mention how beautiful it was. I had such a great time getting to know Brandi and Rachel and getting to spend more time with Alex. Such a fun group.
