I wasn't planning on being able to get to San Francisco this weekend to help Alex celebrate. We're not exactly in a situation financially where we have money to the money, but I was so bummed to miss it. But then mom said that she was getting rid of one of her credit cards and they were going to lose their miles - I may as well use them. They had just enough for a flight back from SF to Portland where I could meet Kevin and the girls. So perfect. I could road trip it down there from Bend with Alex, Brandi, and Rachel and then fly back to Portland. So perfect.
Thank you, Mom, for letting me use your miles. It was a much-needed weekend and I wouldn't have been able to get it without the offer.
